ABOUT SALT CREEK MUSIC COMMITTEE
(SCMC)
SCMC is a group of individuals
who are united by a love of good music and an appreciation of
the entertainment potential of the beautiful grounds at Spring
Valley Pool in Granville, Ohio. For the past few years,
SCMC has produced Music Festivals featuring a variety of live
Bluegrass, Jazz and Rock bands. In order to promote and
present these festivals, SCMC has sought sponsorship from local
businesses and interested individuals. After-expense proceeds
are distributed to two non-profit organizations, The Welsh Hills
School and Hospice of Central Ohio. In exchange for funding,
sponsors are given considerations of free admission, advertising,
prime seating, and other premiums. SCMC is not itself a
501(C)3 charitable entity. Sponsorship funds and "In-kind"
donations, therefore, do not qualify for tax-deductible status
according to IRS rules. Approved volunteers can qualify
for free admission. For more information on how you
can help by being a sponsor, a vendor, or a volunteer, please
email support@springvalleypool.com.
Thank you.
