The Bluegrass Disciples were formed in 2001 out
of a jam session between friends. The group grew like wildfire.
Churches began to call and wanting the group for their services,
special events, and homecomings. The group cut their first project,
Little Mountain Church House in the fall of 2001. Upon the release
of this project the group seen a massive increase in their schedule.
Now busy three to four times a weekend they traveled on the success
of the project till the next year when the group went back to the
studio and recorded the second of the groups albums God Sent an
Angel. The group continued to thrive and gain in popularity until
Scott Arthur left the band. They continued to travel the hectic
weekends, and eventually filled the tenor position. The group has
continued to enjoy the traveling circuit, and being apart of church
services all over Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, Michigan, and Indiana.
The group went through a reorganization period replacing all but
two of the founding members. This reorganization lead to the group
that is currently traveling as the Bluegrass Disciples.
