The Hastily Assembled Bluegrass
Band began years ago like many other bands because a group of
friends loved the music. SInce then, the band has evolved into
a close association of musicians who strive for authenticity,
accuracy, grit and sensitivity and who lean towards the blues
edge of bluegrass. Set lists feature songs from the icons of
traditional bluegrass as well as originals done in that style.
While the same faces will not always be seen in this band, led
and founded by Jeanne Wieland and Jon McDonald, the same high
quality of musicianship will always be heard.
