Sugargrove, based in Miami county and comprised of Daryl Duncan (lead vocals & guitar), Craig Shaffer (banjo & back-up vocals), and Randy Bennett (lead guitar), for the past couple of years has been gaining respect of both audiences and peers with their vocals, instrumentation, & well-chosen mix of material.
While this consists mainly of contemporary and traditional bluegrass songs, audiences are often surprised with Sugargrove's homegrown versions of some of their favorite country and pop songs as well.
The band performs monthly at Dunaways Beef & Ale in Troy Ohio and The Hotel Galley in Tipp City Ohio. You can also find them at many Miami & Darke county Ohio musical venues, such as
The Tipp Roller Mill and Darke county’s Annie Oakley Festival. Sugargrove recently enjoyed the honor of being the featured artists on Troy TV’s (channel 9) “Spotlight” program. |
