NEW YAHOO GROUP FORMING!!!!!

We have started a Yahoo Group for the Tri-State Bluegrass area and we hope
that you will find this to be a real asset to the bluegrass community as
well as a fast way to reach the bluegrass fans and bands!

If you don't know about a Yahoo Group.... this is the skinny!

It's a email group, where people can sign up for free and belong to the
group. When anyone sends an email to the address of the group, it is
"broadcast" to everyone in the group! (Be sure not to post personal
information or gossip, because EVERYONE will see your email!!!)

They can then write and respond to it as well, and their post will be
"broadcast" to everyone in the group!

Lively conversations can be broadcast as well as details about important
events such as shows, band changes, even personal situations such as illness
or deathes, or hopefully happy and fun things too! We will be allowing a
SMALL amount of non-pushy advertising.... but it has to be about bluegrass
in the Tri-State area. (Like people offering instruments for sale, or
looking for a musician, perhaps letting folks know about a show or a new CD
release from a local band, that sort of thing!)

Blantant non-topical advertising will be be removed immediately!

It's kinda like a forum, however, the information is delivered to your email box!

I highly recommend when you sign up, that you select "DIGEST" and what is
nice, is that they gather up the day's emails for you and send in one simple
email. This way you are not getting 10-20 emails a day.
