During the week, Ohio University Public
Radio's schedule consists of classical and jazz music and in-depth
news. But on Sunday the schedule takes a decidedly folksy tone. Continuing
a tradition of more than 20 years, D28+5 takes to the air every
Sunday afternoon at 1:00.
Our hosts are here to bring you the
best in traditional and contemporary bluegrass. They've been hosting
these shows for years and now they bring the best of bluegrass to
a worldwide audience. Their programs air in three-hour blocks, rotating
each day so listeners everywhere won't miss their favorites.
WAMU 88.5 FM
For 32 years, WAMU has been a pioneering presence in the bluegrass
community. WAMU's bluegrass hosts are musicians, ethnomusicologists,
and festival-goers. Each host brings to the microphone a different
set of sensibilities and programming, from traditional recordings
and contemporary artists.
