Jordon Run - Lost Friend
JRM - 013

Recorded in memory of a true lost friend, Greg Hart, Jordon Run has assembled to record this CD and surely he is smiling at their well-meant effort in his honor. A nice mixture of original compositions from the various band members and covers of well-known favorites, the hard work and patience shines through. As this band matures and grows together tighter, the harmonies and timing are sure to improve. Gene Burgy, the mandolin man, has provided several of his own songs with "Carolina Roads"; "Jesus Is Calling". "Hold Your Mama's Hand" and the title track, "Lost Friend". Guitar player, Rusty Parsons Jr. has offered "Missing You" for the group effort with a classic bluegrass sound. "Hold Your Mama's Hand" is perhaps one of the best cuts on this CD and beautifully spotlights the potential of Jordon Run. "Lost Friend" is a good offering and could polish up to something quite memorable. Watch out for future offerings from this Ohio band and you're sure to be rewarded!
